Cars in Germany's City Discovered Smeared with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Officers mentioned they were alerted by a individual who found a automobile in Hanau marked with reddish liquid

Approximately fifty automobiles have been marked with what seems to be blood from a person in the Germany's city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, police confirm authorities.

Vehicles, exterior walls and mailboxes were vandalized, occasionally with prohibited symbols, they announced in a release.

Officers say they were contacted late on Wednesday evening, when a resident observed that a vehicle in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been covered with a red-colored substance.

The fluid had been placed in the pattern of a swastika, they reported.

Law enforcement then found many other marked vehicles and building exteriors in the nearby vicinity.

Swastikas are illegal in Germany under laws outlawing the visible presentation of Nazi symbols.

Law enforcement report early analysis suggest the liquid was most likely blood from a person.

"At present there remains no lead as to where it came from; officials are presently not cognizant of any injuries in connection with the occurrence," they stated.

Local authorities said they were trying "to unravel the incident" and have requested to the residents for information.

A high-ranking political figure said the vandalism left him stunned and needed to be addressed quickly.

"This incident strikes at the core of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the right-wing violent incident half a decade ago," he wrote on online, referring to the murder of nine individuals by a shooter targeting individuals of migrant background in 2020.
